On this Year's Wetlands Day, Green Aid Foundation reaffirms its commitment to sustainable environmental practices and community empowerment. Our ongoing push for rehabilitation of Orarwe Dam represents a significant step in preserving our precious wetlands, vital ecosystems that support biodiversity, combat climate change, and provide livelihoods to countless families.

By restoring Orarwe Dam, we aim to

Enhance water conservation and management for the surrounding communities and the town.

Revive wetland biodiversity, ensuring a thriving habitat for plants and animals

Empower local women and youth through involvement in sustainable practices, fostering self-reliance and resilience.

Wetlands are a lifeline for our environment and our people. Together, let us protect and rehabilitate these ecosystems for current and future generations, it all starts with planting a bamboo and naturing it to a full grown plant
